Overview
1U UniFi Protect NVR with built-in AI event analytics, HDMI output, four 2.5”/3.5” HDD bays, and support for up to (30) 4K or (60) Full HD cameras.
The Ubiquiti UniFi Network Video Recorder G2 (UNVR-G2) is a high-performance 1U rackmount NVR designed for professional and enterprise UniFi Protect surveillance deployments.
Featuring four 2.5"/3.5" HDD/SSD drive bays, the UNVR-G2 provides scalable local storage with RAID data protection, making it suitable for installations where recording capacity and storage redundancy are essential.
The second-generation platform introduces significantly enhanced processing capabilities with a modern Qualcomm Kryo CPU, 8 GB of memory, and built-in AI event analytics for advanced UniFi Protect deployments.
The UNVR-G2 supports up to 60 HD, 50 2K or 30 4K cameras when its integrated HDMI ViewPort is not in use, providing substantially increased camera capacity for demanding surveillance environments.
Integrated HDMI video output enables direct connection to a compatible monitor or display, while the system can provide up to 16 simultaneous 4K ViewPort streams.
High-speed network connectivity is provided through a 10G SFP+ interface and a 2.5 GbE RJ45 port, ensuring sufficient bandwidth for high-resolution multi-camera installations.
The UNVR-G2 also supports UniFi Access and UniFi Connect, including management of more than 150 Access Hubs, making it suitable as a centralized platform for integrated physical security deployments.
For enhanced system availability, the NVR supports redundant power through the UniFi SmartPower Redundant Power System (USP-RPS).
