Overview
Compact UniFi Protect NVR with 3.5" HDD support, featuring an integrated 6-port PoE switch, integrated HDMI View Port, and a capacity for (6) 4K cameras or (15) Full HD cameras.
The Ubiquiti UniFi Network Video Recorder Instant (UNVR-Instant) is a compact desktop NVR designed to provide an integrated and streamlined UniFi Protect solution for small and medium-sized surveillance installations.
Featuring an integrated 6-port Gigabit PoE switch, the UNVR-Instant can power and connect compatible UniFi Protect cameras directly, reducing the need for a separate PoE switch and simplifying system deployment.
The recorder supports up to 15 HD, 8 2K or 6 4K cameras, making it an ideal solution for residential, retail, office and small business surveillance applications.
A dedicated 3.5" HDD bay provides local video storage with data protection, while the integrated HDMI ViewPort allows camera feeds to be displayed directly on a compatible monitor or TV without requiring a separate UniFi Protect ViewPort.
The UNVR-Instant provides a total 40W PoE budget across its six PoE downlink ports and includes a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet uplink for connection to the network.
Its compact desktop enclosure features an integrated 1.14" display and can also be installed on a wall or DIN rail using the included mounting hardware.
In addition to UniFi Protect, the UNVR-Instant supports UniFi Access and UniFi Connect, providing a versatile platform for integrated physical security deployments.
Note: The UNVR-Instant requires connection to a Gateway or Layer 3 switch.
