The D4‑320U is a 4-bay Direct Attached Storage (DAS) designed to expand storage for servers and NAS systems. It supports Windows Server, Linux, TrueNAS, Proxmox, and Unraid, providing a flexible and efficient solution for data management.
Compact, Rack-Mountable Design
With a 1U, 4-bay form factor, the D4‑320U saves space and is easy to install in data centers, offices, and server rooms. The unit weighs 3.2 kg, has a compact 241 mm depth, and requires no additional rails for mounting.
Massive Storage Capacity
Supports up to 4 SATA drives (HDD or SSD), with maximum 24 TB per drive, for a total of up to 96 TB. Operates in single-disk mode by default; RAID configurations can be implemented via host software.
High-Speed Data Transfer
Thanks to USB 3.2 Gen2, the D4‑320U delivers speeds up to 10 Gbps. With 4 × 8 TB WD Red HDDs, read/write speeds reach 1016 MB/s; with a single 1 TB WD Red SSD, read speeds reach 510 MB/s.
Plug-and-Play, Multi-Platform Compatibility
No drivers required. Compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, TrueNAS, and Unraid, with included USB‑C and USB‑A cables. Supports Thunderbolt 3/4, ensuring stable and efficient data transfers.
NAS Expansion
Compatible with TerraMaster NAS devices via USB. Users can create storage arrays and pools to expand NAS capacity (requires TOS 5.1 or later).
