Overview

PAS Software Maintenance Service plans are the perfect complement to your PAS series storage. You gain total peace of mind knowing your data infrastructure is backed by Synology’s comprehensive product support and access to the latest updates and features.

Activation and status

PAS Software Maintenance Service licenses are available from and activated by your Synology reseller. Upon activation, the activation status and coverage period is visible in your Synology Account along with the DSM Enterprise web UI.
  • A single license covers a single PAS system.
  • Licenses are non-refundable once activated.
  • Licenses are term-based and must be renewed at the end of each term to maintain coverage.

Renewal and expiration

PAS Software Maintenance Service licenses are renewed through your Synology reseller. Before a license expires, you will receive multiple notifications with an email notification being sent at least 90 days before a license expires. If you choose not to renew your license, your Synology PAS storage will continue to function, but will lose access to system updates and package updates. Learn more
