The Radio Button is a compact, robust wireless sensor designed specifically for industrial environments, including elevators and escalators.
Combining an advanced 868MHz radio module with a powerful microprocessor, it supports a range of signaling functions through opto-isolated on/off inputs, digital outputs, and an RS485 serial interface.
With flexible power options, it operates from a 9-28 VDC power supply or standard non-rechargeable AA batteries for custom applications.
An integrated activation button can be configured for various use cases to suit specific operational needs. The Radio Button pairs seamlessly with the 4G LIFTGATE (featuring 868MHz radio), serving as an external wireless sensor that transmits critical data to the cloud or acts as a remote trigger in the Coppy series emergency systems. In this role, it can also be deployed as a pit flooding sensor.
Enhanced with smart algorithms, the device can detect handrail wear using external inductive sensors—making it ideal for predictive maintenance applications.
Utilizing a proprietary 868MHz communication protocol, the Radio Button ensures secure, reliable transmission over long distances, even in challenging industrial environments.
Built-in "heartbeat" messages allow for continuous monitoring of its operational status.
For greater flexibility, it comes equipped with an external SMA antenna, enabling optimized performance even in complex installations.
