The Eversolo DMP-A8 Network Audio Streamer is a versatile music player that combines the functions of a network streamer, digital audio player, digital-to-analogue converter, and preamp all in one. Featuring the proprietary Eversolo Original sampling-rate audio engine (EOS), the DMP-A8 maintains audio at all original sampling rates. It's also a haven for connectivity, accommodating a plethora of devices. The DMP-A8 can be used as a digital turntable to connect to a variety of high-end DACs via HDMI IIS, USB, optical and coaxial outputs. As a DAC, it supports a wide range of digital inputs: 2 coaxial, 2 optical, USB B inputs to connect PC and mobile devices and APTX HD audio input, LDAC Bluetooth. As a high-performance preamplifier, it supports XLR and RCA analog inputs. Additionally, the DMP-A8 can be paired directly to active speakers or power amplifiers via the RCA and XLR analog preamp outputs.

The decoding section of the DMP-A8 uses the XMOS 316 audio processor combined with the flagship AK4191+AK4499EX DAC, which allows it to support decoding up to DSD512 and PCM 768kHz@32Bit, also ensuring D/A conversion with extremely high noise and distortion. reduced.

Internal slot for a high-speed M.2 SSD

The internal M.2 NVME 3.0 2280 SSD bay allows you to install the SSD without removing the device cover, the maximum capacity is 4TB. Double Power Supply: Toroidal + Switching

To eliminate interference and noise between the system circuitry and the audio circuitry, and to optimize the purity of the sound, the DMP-A8 uses two distinct power supplies: one for the digital section, and one for the analogue section. The linear power supply consists of a multi-winding toroidal transformer, specifically designed to be combined with audio circuits. The very high-quality switching power supply is tailor-made for the digital and IT control sections. Thanks to these measures, ripple and EMI electromagnetic interference are drastically reduced, for very high-level audio processing.

Third-generation XMOS 316 audio processor

Thanks to the third-generation XMOS 316 audio processor, the DMP-A8 offers faster speeds and maximum USB bandwidth, resulting in lossless transmission of high-resolution audio data. High-precision double-clock

For audio decoding, 2 very high precision femtosecond class clocks with phase noise close to zero are installed, one operating at 45.1584MHz, and one at 49.152MHz, corresponding to the frequencies of 44.1KHz and 48KHz and the relative multiples of sampling frequencies. These precision components help to suppress jitter, ensuring the conversion and decoding of digital to analogue audio signals are performed with very high accuracy and precision. This translates into a very high resolution and dynamic range for the analog outputs, which can thus reproduce real sound details like in a recording studio.

Fully Balanced Analog Preamp Circuit with R2R Volume Control

The new Eversolo DMP-A8 is equipped with a fully balanced, very high-performance preamp section, with RCA and XLR inputs. It ensures a gain of +10dB and, when combined with its analogue R2R resistor volume control (ladder), allows for very low noise and very low distortion output. The precision resistors and relays that make up the fully balanced analog volume control network ensure that harmonic distortions and noise in the analog domain are eliminated. Furthermore, there is a volume protection function, which automatically reduces excessive volume levels to a safe value during the startup phase and input selection. The built-in R2R analog volume control ensures that the DAC can operate continuously under ideal conditions.

I2S HDMI output

DMP-A8 also has an I2S HDMI digital output, to connect DACs equipped with this high-quality audio interface. The pinout of the MUTE pin is configurable from the settings. Supports PCM 768K and DSD512 at maximum sampling rates.

HDMI ARC

The DMP-A8 includes an HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) input that can be connected to devices such as TVs and Projectors with HDMI ARC output. This achieves separation of the audio signals from HDMI to the DMP-A8, ensuring high-quality audio at the television output.

Carefully selected audio components

The sound quality of the DMP-A8's analog output is on par with studio monitor controllers. Effective media management system

The DMP-A8 offers a robust media management system that allows you to perform multiple editing operations on your local hard drive and network storage, such as copying, pasting, cutting and deleting files. The USB port can be configured as a USB OTG port, making it easy to connect your computer to the DMP-A8 via USB cable to copy and manage files locally. Playing and copying CDs

DMP-A8 allows you to play and copy CDs (CD Ripping) by connecting an external optical drive via USB. CD Rip APP uses data validation and error correction to losslessly save audio data from CDs. The application's algorithm intelligently matches album and CD track names (officially released CDs are required for this feature), copies tracks losslessly and automatically generates album and artist information.

The settings available for the DMP-A8 digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) include seven types of digital filters, with different modes corresponding to different sound characteristics, which can be switched according to personal preferences.
