Il Draytek Vigor2962 4 porte WAN / LAN configurabili, una porta Ethernet 2.5G, prestazioni NAT 2.4Gbps, 200 tunnel VPN LAN-to-LAN e 20 VLAN, questo modello può essere utilizzato direttamente in ambienti di rete semplici e più complessi. La porta SFP WAN può essere dotata di un modulo in fibra SFP per una connessione diretta alla FTU (Fiber Termination Unit). Ciò rende superfluo un convertitore fibra aggiuntivo.
